My name is Rachel Cook and I am a qualified adult and children's yoga teacher.
After my second child was born in 2006 I knew I did not want to return to my corporate career and decided to fulfill my 10 year long dream of training as a yoga teacher. My passion for yoga began over a decade ago whilst backpacking across India . Since then, yoga has become part of my everyday life. I completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour teaching diploma in July 2008, a course taught by Brian Cooper.
My classes are dynamic and aim to create balance in the body, mind and spirit through yoga postures (asanas), each of which has specific physical benefits and breathing techniques (pranayama) which can help you cope with stress and anxiety. Yoga will help you develop both strength & flexibility and the art of relaxation.
